There are not many real lions in Belgian Flanders except on the flags that come out of every home when the spring classics start. There is no stronger sign of royal perseverance than the yellow flag with the black lion and red tongue. Johan Museeuw is known for winning the most spring classics and the real lion king. His style is famous and he was an example in his best years for future champions like Tom Boonen.

Be aware of awakening the lion in yourself because after drinking this coffee the hills of Flanders are less steep, muddy or cobbled anymore.

Taste Description
The Leeuw van Vlaanderen is our special monument dark roast according to the Flandrien style with the flavours of dark chocolate mousse, candied caramel and some ripe berries. The aroma of the blend is very powerful and full bodied. The coffee has a high bitterness and toasted finish flavour of an Italian espresso.

Nespresso seems the most simple brew method of coffee but you will enjoy your coffee more following the next steps:
1. Flush your Nespresso* machine without the cup inside
2. Pre-heat the espresso coffee cup you want to drink from
3. Add our coffee capsule into the machine (as our capsules are a bit harder than plastic or aluminum capsules you sometimes need to help the capsule a little bit) and start the espresso brew
4. Enjoy your espresso!
