Flanders' Tornado
The "Bom van Balen" is the nickname of the amazing former procyclist Tom Boonen. This colombian coffee matches his amazing palmares especially as World Champion and multi Flanders classic winner. The coffee has a special character, a lasting drive and it explodes in your mouth of freshness. We used two speeds (dual-speed) for roasting this coffee as a wink to the race style of Tom. Dual speed roasting is a technique that uses the same coffee beans at different exit temperatures. Blending these together provides the perfect balance in taste and espresso bite.
These beans have been the way to go of many cycling cafes for their lungo and americano coffees.

Taste Description
This single origin coffee of Colombian beans are light/medium roasted and bring flavours of almond marzipan, rich milk chocolate and fresh sweet citrus that catch your attention immediately. The aroma is not very powerful but offers a full body. The beans have a fresh sweetness and some nutty/fruity flavours as finish that linger in your mouth.
A double shot of these beans with a splash of whole milk make the best tasting cappuccino you ever had.
