ABOUT THIS SUBSCRIPTION:
WANDERLUST
We worked with Demi already as one of our avid ambassadors but her flood of coffee questions, the purchase of a Rocket Espresso machine and our strong believe she will be the next Female Worldchamp made it happen that we started thinking of a collaboration.
The name Wanderlust can be guessed as Demi is not only a professional bike rider but also a loving outdoor explorer. While currently living in Switserland we came up with the name of this coffee because of the many legendary hiking trails the country posesses and her urge to get to know them all. You can find Demi trailrunning, graveling, hiking with her dog or cross-country skiing while enjoying a coffee on many remote places. Outside = Free!
Taste Description
Wanderlust is a medium roasted, rich and delicate specialty coffee. You will taste sweet tones of caramel and almond topped with a pleasant lime acidity. It has a full body and amazing flowerful aftertaste. We recommend this coffee for filter methods like the Aeropress but also for your semi-automatic coffee machines.
Source Information
The Wanderlust coffee originated from a direct trade project with our partners of fair-beans.de who visited the farm of Felista Aquino Peña several times. The coffee is cultivated in the province of Oxapampa near the village Villa Rica, a real coffee village located on the Andes foothills and in the tropical forest of Peru. With 100 years of coffee growing experience these grounds may be called coffee heaven at an altitude of 1.400m ASL. The coffee we bought from finca Mellizos 71 has been washed and sun dried on beds. We are happy that we can provide the farmer with a good price for his excellent work as their business is always struggling since the market price of coffee has not promised any solid profitability for about 8 years. Inhabitants also raise cattle and trade in timber but coca plantations are becoming more and more popular.
