LE CANNIBALE
Colombia - 2026 harvest
A tribute to Eddy Merckx, Molteni 1971.
LE CANNIBALE
He won everything. Not figuratively — actually everything. Stages, classifications, intermediate sprints, mountain prizes, points jerseys, races no one else thought worth fighting for. Eddy Merckx rode as though leaving anything for anyone else was a personal failure. The peloton named him in defence: Le Cannibale, the rider who ate the race.
Five Tours, three of them so absolute that the sport spent the next decade recovering. He didn't survive pressure. He drank it like a strong espresso before a climb he intended to attack from the bottom, and the climb came off worse for the encounter.
TASTING NOTES
This is a fresh drop of beans from Colombia. The coffee has been specially selected as it just received from the country to Europe. We call this an in-season coffee and that is why it is a limited offer. The coffee has tasting notes of sweet chocolate, cane sugar and a hint of citrus fruit in the aftertaste. Perfect for many brew methods. We love to brew a filter coffee with it.
